The Film Reporter Kathleen Martin (Carre Otis) is to take a group of veteran warriors back to battlefields of Vietnam and while they are welcomed by the new Republic they are haunted by the past. Kathleen's special project gets off to a rocky start when the company commander, Captain Ramsey, fails to show up. The men of Echo Company aren't surprised though. Once closer than brothers, they're bitter about Ramsey, but the reason remains a mystery. The mystery deepens as we flashback to see the men of Echo Company in action, and discover that Cpt Ramsey was a great commanding officer -- and that his men were not only devoted to him, they owed him their lives. An unspoken incident changed everything and led to the betrayal and court martial of Cpt Ramsey. Bound and haunted by the past, the men of Echo Company relive their hell as they search for justice. The return to Vietnam brings back not only the horrible memories but it also brings the truth. The Music The sweeping score was performed by the 65-piece Munich Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Allan Wilson (conductor of the score for Sleepy Hollow). Amin was happy to be teamed up once again with orchestrator Jamie Hopkings and score mixer Cory Mandel. The three last worked together on the IMAX feature "Gold Fever". Assisting with music editing and orchestral programming was composer Ari Posner. Finally, Amin had a blast working with director Sidney Furie. This is their first project together since completing "Iron Eagle II". |
