DETENTION: Sam Decker (Dolph Lundgren) is giving up. After military service in the Gulf War and the former Yugoslavia, he returned to his inner city neighborhood to teach at the toughest school in town. He wanted to make a difference - but nothing makes a difference at Downview High.

Frustrated and angered by a system that doesn't seem to work, Sam hands in his resignation. But the day he does, he pulls one last detention duty with the toughest kids in the school. That same day, gunmen take over the high school - using it to hide $300 million worth of cocaine they've hijacked.

Produced by GFT Entertainment, this action-adventure feature is a learning experience for the teacher and the students! The score was written and produced by Amin Bhatia, with additional music by Meiro Stamm. It is intense, modern and thrilling, in keeping with the action and excitement onscreen. One of the musical journeys throughout the film include a twisted version of the villain's favorite opera, "Carmen" by Bizet.
