This 1988 action film directed by Sidney J. Furie, is the first sequel to the 1986 film Iron Eagle, with Louis Gossett, Jr. reprising his role as Charles “Chappy” Sinclair. Jason Gedrick also returns as ace pilot Doug Masters in the film’s opening scene.

This was Amin’s first major feature film score. His “Interstellar Suite” album had been released a year earlier and that caught Sidney’s ear. Hiring Amin meant bringing him to Toronto from Calgary where he grew up. The whole experience would have been quite overwhelming were it not for Amin’s friend and mentor, award winning engineer/producer James Porteous. James not only recorded and mixed the score but championed Amin’s music to many other producers in town including David Greene, Cory Mandel, and Rob Kirkpatrick. The result was many decades of music and friendships that have made Toronto Amin’s forever home. And it all started with this film.
