Beacon 23 is an science fiction psychological thriller television series starring Lena Headey and Stephan James.

Set in the 23rd century, the series takes place in space, where a man works at a remote space lighthouse that serves as a beacon to help passing ships.

The series follows Aster and Halan, who find themselves trapped together at the end of the known universe. Aster finds her way to a lonely beacon lighthouse keeper but a battle of wills unfolds as Halan begins to wonder if Aster is friend or enemy.

Among many elements needed in the show were clarinet themes for one of the lighthouse keepers to rehearse and play. Amin was proud to write the themes and supervise the technicalities of rehearsal and timings to picture. The clarinet pieces have become fan favourites. Amin adds, “I hate when a movie or TV show shows a live player that is completely out of sync from the music they are playing. I’m happy to say we got this right and I hope others will also push for good sync on their projects”
